Merge Tech is hiring Rust Engineer

Merge Tech is a digital assets trading firm. We build state-of-the-art trading strategies to bring efficiency and liquidity into the market. Merge Tech was founded by the team behind one of the biggest Ethereum Mining Pools that produced around 3% of the blockchain blocks at the moment of the Merge hardfork.

We’re looking for a Rust Engineer to build and improve a proprietary trading platform that optimizes performance and efficiency. You'll have the opportunity to foster growth and directly impact trading by enhancing various aspects of the trading platform, data infrastructure, and associated software.

Full-time, Remote

Compensation Base compensation starts from $80,000

Objectives

• Write blazing-fast and well-tested and benchmarked Rust code
• Utilize low-level optimization techniques to achieve state-of-the-art system performance
• Design solution architecture together with teammates
• Make sound decisions proactively and in a self-directed manner
• Conduct internal code reviews

Requirements

• Sharp coding skills in Rust
• Experience with network protocols such as UDP
• You have a sound knowledge of Blockchain in a nutshell
• You have a sound knowledge of DEXes and CEXes mechanics in a nutshell
• Understanding of CPU and memory model is desirable
• It’s nice to have a knowledge of EVM internals
• A deep passion for technology and software development
